It was a natural progression for Owain to turn his hand to producing.
As a part of his presenting responsibilities with S4C’s magazine programmes Heno & Prynhawn Da he was responsible for organising, researching, scripting and sound editing features for the programmes.

This encouraged Owain to begin thinking and developing new commissions which he would be able to produce. These included S4C’s highlights programme of ‘Wales’ Strongest Man’ (Cymro Cryfa), sport quiz ‘Gêm Gartre’ and a short documentary on one of Wales’ strongest women and how the sport helped her through some difficult and dark times in her life (Cryfder: Sioned Halpin).

Not one for sitting still, Owain has also had experience as an assistant producer on live sports outside broadcasts.
